This one I built as a tribute to my parents. Dad picked my Mom up in High School in a car just like this (Dads had a Flattie). My Mother was the center of attention when Dad would roar into the parking lot, pick her up and gently lift her over the welded doors of his little truck, then peel out of the parking lot! I built the frame my self from 1 1/2x3 tubing using plans from a 1965 issue of CAR CRAFT. The motor is a 260/3spd. std. left over from my '64 Fairlane build. Nothing on this car is newer than 1964. 4 inch dropped/drilled axle with home narrowed 15x5 FORD steelies and spider caps up front. Fairlane steering box and side steer give a true 60's feel. '64 Falcon diff. on a Model T spring with reversed FORD steelies and Remington wide whites finish up the rear. Reclaimed Cal-Custom covers and scoop jazz up the otherwise stock mill sitting in a 3 inch Z'ed frame with a 12 inch kick in the rear. All by the owner! See yah at the Malt Shop!

Cool little hotrod, love the stance, good choice of eng/trans, wish you'd have put an interior shot on there. I helped my buddy put together a '27rpu back in 2003, it looked very similar and was a blast to drive, he sold it but if I'd have had the cash it would have been mine. Here's a pic of it

Slick ride I always liked those little Ford motors.
