Hy, my name is Francisco and I live in Brazil. This is my '40 Chevy Coupe and it's powered by a 265 *** inline six Chevrolet, (250 bored to 4 in.). It has all the goodies, including a 600 cfm Holley double pumper, Isky 525 b cam, MSD Ignition, 9,5:1 compression ported head and headers. It's quite fast, and will do the quarter mile in about 13,80, and on the highway, the speedometer needle frequently reaches 120 mph! Here in Brazil we have plenty of experience with inline sixes, It´s a very popular engine for modifications (turbo, triple Webers etc.) The estimated 300 hp are routed to the rear wheels via a 4 Clark 4 speed, from a Brazilian Dodge Charger, a custom cerametalic clutch and a Dana 44 (3.07:1) out of a Brazilian Ford Maverick. The front suspension is Independent, from a Chevrolet Opala, with a Chevy (Opel) Corsa Rack and pinion unit. Brakes are discs in all four corners. The car is a dream to drive. Regards from Brazil!
