I had a chooped 57 also. I didn't want to cut this one
as I've owned it almost 40 yrs.

Many, many, years ago I was driving down the El Camino Real in Santa Clara, California, and I saw this really cool customized 1957 Ford Ranchero on a used car lot, so I turned in to have a look at it. The car was white, and had the top chopped. Then and there I decided that all '57 Rancheros should have their tops chopped. The car was really neat looking, and the view form the drivers seat was really great. But alas I had no dough to buy it, but I thought: someday. I still think about that car, even after all this time, maybe someday I will be able to buy one and customize it, and of course I will chop the top!
