About my Model A

I've owned my coupe for 27 years and driven it through 16 states racking up over 147,000 miles. It has Tom Sanborn Flames, Paul Romero leather interior with a home made wrap around bench seat. Everything but the flames was done in my basement and is a true home built hot rod. It's powered by a .060 over 350 I built and a TH350 Tranny with a B&M holeshot converter, tilt, cruise, air, power windows and a lot of attitude.

Thanks, R-SPARKY for the comments. Tom Sanborn is located in Lyles Tennessee about thirty five miles west of Nashville. He's been doing car art over fifty years. Trailers are great if your ride is broken but if it runs, let it. I've seen just as much damage caused by trailers has I have by just driving them, might as well get the fun from the run!

Love your car, its looks alittle like mine. Its a 1930 Sedan with a 32 front end, but its navy blue with the flames like yours. I don't know anything about mine except it was built in Washington and I bought it in Calif. Where is Tom Sanborn located...Nice ride and I appreciate the cars that are driven not hauled !!

Oh yea! I've driven it almost 150,000 miles through 16 states. One year I went from Indy to Gulfport, MS. and then from New Orleans to Virginia then back to middle Tennessee all in the same month.
Thanks for your post.

Thanks Wallywood, I keep that in mind but I plan on keeping the coupe for local runs and may even put a litle more muscle in it when the woodie is finished and drive the wagon on all my long trips. Thanks for the post and I may look you up in Folly Beach, it sound great!

Hey, cool coupe but I love the Woodie you're building too, how are you going to decide which one to drive, why don't you pull the coupe down to Folly Beach, SC. and I'll be more than happy to help you out!
