I bought the 1931 Desoto SA6 as a failed project 3 years ago.  The roof was already chopped 3 inches and door handles shaved. I added a frenched gas cap and motorcycle LED tail lights. I kept the hinges and roof visor, and added a spare tire to the back. Not shown is a Rootlieb 3 piece hood with a welded steel hood scoop: I like running with the hood off.  A transplanted 383 went in, along with Edlebrock aluminum heads, Lunati roller cam and topped by a Weiand 142 supercharger. An all MSD setup with a 6AL and pro billet distrubuter keeps the plugs hot.  2/12 exhaust exits through stainless Supertraps...the sound is terrific with the Voodoo cam and Pete Jackson gear drive.  The transmission is a sturdy 350, Lokar equiped.   The front end is a Heidt's superide shoe-horned in, and the rear is brought up by a Heidt's 4 link,Ford nine with 411's and Mosers, all with Alden Eagle coilovers.  The interior is graced with 4 flamed bucket seats by A1 upholstery.  The rest of the interior I hand built. Interior panels all have a flammed pattern embosed, as well as the headliner itself.   The flame embose is carried out onto the canvas roof of the car itself.  The guages are a Dakota Digital Flame setup, and a Sony DVD player, Sony am/fm CD and amps were added with 8 speakers.
   The paint will be a light silver with red true flames (four shades of House of Kolor red) front to back.
