About my Fairlane

I've owned this "Towne Victoria" (Ford's name for the 4 door hardtop) since 1975.  Drove it stock for 28 years before I decided to do something with it.  I was the second owner, and purchased the car from a gentleman in Del City, OK.  Story goes that he purchased it off the showroom floor at Fred Jones Ford in Oklahoma City.  It had the  312 and Ford-o-matic, and factory air conditioning, power steering, etc.  The car was assembled in Dallas, TX.
It now has a  429 cu in Ford with a C-6 trans and 9" Ford rear end.  The headlights are Frenched, has a tube grill and operational lake pipes.  3" dropped spindles from FatMan Fabrications, and Chrysler R&P with disc brakes on the front.  I've mounted a 12 CD changer and DVD player along with a  Kicker Amp and remote everything from the trunk.
The blue and white stock paint scheme was replaced with Raven Black and Mocha Frost with Russett Pearl Ghost Flames.

Skullsaw, thanks for the kind words. Never heard it put quite that way.

Classy, cozy and a beast all at once. Dressed as a refined lady, appointed like a palace and possessing the soul of a conquering warrior. Truly art in motion.
